The layering is closely tied to the concepts developed in the previous phase, thus giving the project a continuity throughout.
We take all of the elements that involve the project into account, we read the local culture, the market, the client expectations and objectives, the building, the existing landscape; in essence every element that makes that project unique.
OUR PROCESS
We start every project by listening.
We continuously sketch and draw by hand until we start seeing the spaces we envision take form, creating how people flow through places, and we start defining the main elements that will shape the project and make the experience one of a kind.
We continue by sketching a reality.
Once we have the concept defined we lock the layout into place and we continue layering.
We begin by generating a walkthrough of the project with rendered elevation studies, where we start to add textures through materials, fabrics, artworks, decorative lighting and furniture.
When the extraordinary is seen from the outside and everyone is invited to discover the inside.
For the design development phase we polish off the final designs and start generation 3d renderings of the project in order to make sure that every part of the project has been, looked at, designed and is sound.
Final details are looked over, the spec book is finished and all of the MEP is coordinated in order to proceed with the construction drawings.
