This project was atypical from the beginning as the owner contacted us because he had the project under construction as a different brand with all the room materials purchased, but wanted to change it to an AC by Marriott. The challenge was to be able to develop the design concept of the hotel with this existing situation and give the project the unique character of the AC brand.

With that in mind, we developed a simple geometric design inspired by the urban layout of Miraflores and the topographical use of the Incas. The first two floors were reformulated and adapted to the new concept and the rooftop, which had a swimming pool, was re-designed and a concept of a boutique restaurant for 40 people with an open kitchen was developed.

In the rooms we redesigned the furniture and bathrooms to give it an authentic AC seal, seeking that the rooms make the most of the views that the building offered towards the sea.

We explored the concept of a semi-open bathroom where the closet functions as a separating element.
