This hotel is located in the financial district of San Isidro, in the capital of Lima. It is an emblematic project within the city since it was the first project that was carried out in an urban renewal that is being carried out on Begonias Street. Considered one of the best hotels in Lima, this hotel needed a renovation and brand update after 15 years since its opening.
The public space was reorganized by eliminating some pods at the access that confused the flow and the circulation was cleaned. The Lounge sector was opened in front of the street and the closure of the pisco bar was removed, connecting it to the lounge. In this way, we generate a view from the street to activate the space. The Alphonse bar was also opened to this space through glass doors and the overall material palette was reconsidered with lighter colors. We completely revamped the all-day restaurant, rebranding it as Mezcla and as a food hall concept. We developed a layered design, based on noble and native materials of the country that would highlight the best of the building's architecture.
In the rooms, we were inspired by the fact that Lima is a coastal city, maximizing organic shapes in the design and finishes. In this way, we managed to tie this hotel to the new standard of the brand. A backrest was designed as a reinterpretation of a drop falling on water, the lamps reflect organic shapes through light, the movements are much more curved in their design. We managed to transform a good room into something extraordinary.
